On this page, you will find our network of decolonial minds. Whilst not everyone has the capacity to join the Copenhagen Decolonization Collective actively, on this page we are hoping to gather a network of comrades who think/work/reflect/create/act on decolonization of spaces in Copenhagen and beyond.

The community page embodies the principle of convergence — creating a bridge between social movements and organizations striving for justice and equity. While each may focus on distinct struggles, this space recognizes the shared roots of oppression and the power of collective resistance. By offering a space for connection and visibility, the page enables groups working toward decolonization, climate justice, gender equality, and other intersecting causes to find one another, learn, and strengthen solidarity. It is an invitation to join a growing network of movements united in dismantling systemic inequalities.

Background / description (let me know if you need something longer or shorter):

I'm associate professor at the Globe Institute in the University of Copenhagen. I was born and raised in the city of Buenos Aires, established on Querandí land and now capital of the settler state of Argentina, where indigenous groups like the Mapuche, Wichí and Qom are still resisting colonial logics of oppression. I'm originally trained in evolutionary biology and genetics, but increasingly my work lies at the intersection of degrowth, climate justice, decoloniality and socio-ecological transformation. Within these fields, I am particularly interested in exnovation: the challenge of undoing the unsustainable structures, technologies and institutions that keep our lives tied to extractive and exploitative systems. I’m also an active member of various networks and collectives struggling for social and ecological justice, including Scientist Rebellion, the UCPH Degrowth Network, Academics for Palestine and the DM Palestine Network.
